Still Image Photography with Digital SLRs
Students undertook a folio design process before creating a series of still photographs that depicted a theme as they learnt to control depth of field, aperture, and shutter speed using manual cameras. Composition was also studied. Students were encouraged to consider how framing could impact on the communication of their ideas.

Students undertook a study into a wide range of film genres before designing their own film poster. They were encouraged to observe and replicate the codes and conventions utilised in specific film poster genres. The final work was completed using a raster-based program.
