Hand and digital drawings

Students applied isometric drawing conventions to produce an instrumental drawing. The focus of this assessment was rendering using the media of coloured pencils and fineliner to represent form with the consideration for a light source.

Design Elements and Principles

Design task

Emphasising a range of design elements and principles, students explored and generated original manual and digital patterns and applied them to the surface of a three-dimensional prototype. Students experimented with a wide range of methods and media including collage, pencil, paint and digital drawing programs before building their final prototype using a range of construction methods.
