Artist House and Advertisment 

My client, Charlotte Key, is a visual artist who works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Charlotte has recently inherited a large block of land in outback Australia, 5850 Tanami Road, Lake Mackay, Northern Territory. She would like to build a large contemporary home. Charlotte will be living there on her own as well as using her residence as an art studio.

Charlotte is interested in modern architecture, as well as art and design and would like her home to reflect this. Charlotte also likes to travel overseas often, so she has decided that while she is travelling, she will rent out her home to other artists to live in and use as a studio. Because of this, Charlotte needs advertising for posters, Instagram, and Facebook ads to promote the renting of her home studio. She would like the ad to depict either the surrounding environment of her home or the house itself, as well as provide information and contact information.

Charlotte needs a space to store her artworks safely, an area to prepare and clean her materials, as well as a large studio space to create her art. She displays her artworks digitally on her social media platforms, so doesn’t need a display area.  Her home needs one bedroom, as well as at least one bathroom, kitchen and living area, laundry, artist studio and storeroom.

For presentation one, Charlotte requires the design of a contemporary home, set on the chosen land in outback Australia, that includes a studio space.

Communication Need 2

For presentation two, Charlotte requires advertisement and marketing for her home and studio, so that she can successfully rent it out to other artists while she is travelling.
