The clock is a safety clock that was made for people with down syndrome. The product was made from many different layers of wooden sheeting that were cut through a laser cutter. There is a small gap down the bottom end of the front where the clock face sits. All of the edges are sanded down as well to avoid the chance of someone cutting or injuring themselves on a sharp corner. The reasoning behind the clock was to make a safe product that my down syndrome aunty is able to use without having to worry about any chance of injury.
