Zhuoxi Zeng is a Chinese artist born 2004 that moved to Australia in 2019 to pursue his studies in Ivanhoe Grammar School. Having grown up in a mix of both Eastern and Western environments within a Buddhist household, he is inspired by Chinese mythological creatures and nature which is reflected in his work. Drawing also upon a love for Japanese anime, which he watched throughout his childhood, his artwork reflects that similar style. Dragon and Girl is an early exploration of the interaction between mythical creatures and people designed to be whimsical and capture the magic of the moment.

Zhuoxi Zeng wanted to portray humans coexisting alongside nature. In artwork Dragon and Girl, he highlights the magic in the relationship by incorporating a mythical creature, ended up painting a little girl standing in the middle of the sea with a dragon appearing before her.

The artwork delves into the nature of how humans, animals and nature coexist in harmony, while subtly adding humanistic elements to make the feeling of the art piece is meant to be very dramatic but also elegant with the feeling of astonishment when viewer looking at the way the girl and the dragon interact in that single split second.

The artwork of unit 3 is represent the combination with culture and nature, promote harmonious coexistence between man and nature，present the beauty of the combination of man and nature.
